General principles
This website is self-hosted on Swiss infrastructure, and your data stays in Switzerland wherever we control it. Two functions are exceptions: email delivery for the contact form runs through Google Workspace, and the contact form's spam protection is provided by Cloudflare Turnstile. Both are described below. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies.
Hosting
This website is hosted on an Infomaniak VPS located in Switzerland. When you visit this site, your IP address is temporarily processed by the server for technical delivery of the page. No personal data is stored beyond standard server logs.
Analytics
We use Umami, a privacy-friendly, open-source analytics tool self-hosted on the same Swiss server. Umami does not use cookies, does not track individual users, and does not collect personal data. All analytics data stays on our Swiss server. No data is shared with third parties.
Booking
The booking function on this website is powered by Cal.com, an open-source scheduling tool self-hosted on the same Swiss server. When you book a meeting, your name, email address, and any notes you provide are stored on our server. This data is used solely to manage the appointment. No data is transmitted to external services.
Fonts
All fonts used on this website (Urbanist, Inter) are self-hosted. No connections to external font services (such as Google Fonts) are made.
Contact form
When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message. This data is transmitted via Google Workspace SMTP relay for email delivery and is used solely to respond to your inquiry.
Spam protection
The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which tells real visitors apart from automated spam bots. When you use the form, Turnstile receives your IP address, basic information about your browser and device, and signals about how you interact with the page. According to Cloudflare, this data is used solely to verify that you are human — not for advertising or cross-site tracking — and is retained for a limited period. Turnstile may store a short-lived technical entry in your browser to remember that the check passed; it is not used to track you. Cloudflare, Inc. is based in the USA, so this is one of the few cases where data leaves Switzerland; the transfer is governed by Cloudflare's standard contractual clauses. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting this website from abuse. Cookies
This website uses only a single essential localStorage entry to remember your preferred theme (light/dark mode). No tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or third-party cookies are used. The spam protection on the contact form may add a short-lived technical entry — see “Spam protection” above.

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nDSG) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, please contact us at hello@isk.ch.
