Your internship in AI & Digital Consulting at isk
isk consult is a small digital consultancy based in Lyss near Bern. We put artificial intelligence (AI) to work in everyday business. We identify where AI creates real value for SMEs, organisations, and start-ups, build tailored software, automate workflows, and help teams use AI safely and effectively. Our aim is to make AI a practical tool that people actually use, not a demo that never goes live. As an intern, you work on ongoing client projects and, once you’ve settled in, take on sub-projects of your own. We fit the 40–100% workload around your studies.
What you’ll do
- You work on ongoing client projects: you research, analyse, and prepare findings for concepts and presentations.
- Together with clients, you gather requirements, document workflows, and identify where AI and digital tools can help.
- You build AI assistants, automations, and prototypes with AI agents, without needing to write code yourself.
- You prepare workshops and help facilitate parts of them.
- Once you’ve settled in, you take on your own sub-projects and see them through to completion.
The work varies: one week you work out which AI solution suits a client, the next you build a first prototype or prepare a workshop.
What you bring
- Studies in business informatics, computer science, business administration, or a related field (bachelor’s or master’s), ongoing or recently completed, or comparable practical experience
- Some first practical experience, for example from internships, side jobs, study projects, or volunteering
- AI as an everyday tool: you use Claude, ChatGPT, or similar tools as a matter of course, at university, at work, or privately, and want to do more with them
- A basic technical understanding and a desire to try things out yourself
- Clear communication and no hesitation about working with clients
- A highly independent, proactive way of working and a willingness to get to grips with new topics
- Fluent Swiss German and confident standard German, as our clients are in German-speaking Switzerland; good English as well, and French is a plus
- Swiss citizenship or a valid Swiss work permit
What we offer
- 40–100% with flexible hours, easy to plan around your studies
- Real client projects with SMEs, organisations, and start-ups instead of practice exercises
- You learn directly from the managing director, with plenty of exchange and honest feedback
- If you like, a practical project for your bachelor’s or master’s thesis
