Your internship in Agentic Software Development at isk

isk consult is a small digital consultancy based in Lyss near Bern. We put artificial intelligence (AI) to work in everyday business. We build web platforms, online shops, and internal tools for SMEs, organisations, and start-ups, and run them on Swiss servers. Our aim is to make AI a practical tool that people actually use, not a demo that never goes live. Most of our code is written by AI agents. As an intern, you steer them, make product decisions, and make sure that what ends up live works and looks good. We fit the 40–100% workload around your studies or apprenticeship.

What you’ll do

  • You build features and entire web applications with AI agents such as Claude Code, from the idea to deployment.
  • You turn requirements into clear specs, steer the agents, and review and test their output.
  • You think from the users’ point of view, prioritise, and make UX decisions directly in the code.
  • You put applications into production and run them, including servers, containers, domains, and monitoring.
  • You build internal tools and automations and improve the agentic workflows we work with.

The work varies: one week you build a new feature for a client platform, the next you set up a server or develop an internal tool from scratch.

What you bring

  • Programming skills, whether from studying computer science or business informatics, an apprenticeship as an application developer, or teaching yourself
  • You read and understand code, even if you mostly no longer write it yourself
  • AI as an everyday tool: you work with Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or similar tools every day and have already built projects with them
  • Solid basics in Git, the terminal and Linux, the web (HTTP, APIs, databases), and deployment with Docker
  • A feel for product and UI/UX; you don’t need Figma or other design tools for that
  • A highly independent way of working and the attitude of taking responsibility for what you build until it’s live
  • Fluent Swiss German; you have no trouble reading technical documentation in English
  • Swiss citizenship or a valid Swiss work permit

What we offer

  • 40–100% with flexible hours, easy to plan around your studies or apprenticeship
  • Projects for SMEs, organisations, and start-ups that go live and get used
  • You learn directly from the managing director, with reviews and honest feedback
  • You’re there from the start and help shape how isk works

We look forward to your CV and links to things you’ve built, live or on GitHub, no matter how small. You don’t tick every box, but the topic excites you? Apply anyway.
