Your role as AI & Digital Consultant at isk

isk consult is a small digital consultancy based in Lyss near Bern. We put artificial intelligence (AI) to work in everyday business. We identify where AI creates real value for SMEs, organisations, and start-ups, build tailored software, automate workflows, and help teams use AI safely and effectively. Our aim is to make AI a practical tool that people actually use, not a demo that never goes live. We start by understanding the business and the people behind it, weigh the benefit against the effort, and then deliver tangible prototypes or improved workflows. We’re looking for someone at 60–80% who will lead their own engagements independently and guide clients from the first idea to the finished solution.

What you’ll do

• You take on your own engagements: you work out with clients what they need, write the concept and proposal, lead the project, and hand over the solution.
• You analyse clients’ existing workflows and identify where AI and digital tools can help.
• You build tailored AI assistants, automations, and prototypes with AI agents, without needing to write code yourself.
• You run workshops and help people use AI and new digital tools safely and efficiently.

The work varies: one week you build an AI assistant on a company’s knowledge, the next you review a client’s workflows with their team or facilitate a workshop.

What you bring

• A bachelor’s degree in business informatics, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, for example as a project manager, product owner, or business analyst
• Several years of experience in digitalisation, IT, or organisational projects, whether in consulting or in-house
• AI as an everyday tool: you work with Claude, ChatGPT, or similar tools every day, know their limits, and have already used them to automate workflows
• The ability to analyse complex situations and develop pragmatic, workable solutions
• Strong communication and facilitation skills to bring clients along and lead workshops with confidence, ideally with experience in change management, coaching, or adult education
• A highly independent, proactive way of working and a willingness to get to grips with new topics
• Fluent Swiss German and polished standard German, as our clients are in German-speaking Switzerland; good English as well, and French is a plus
• Swiss citizenship or a valid Swiss work permit
